How do I use it?

Whey Protein Deluxe can be taken as an ‘anytime’ high protein snack, especially following a period of overnight fasting or in between training sessions. Can also be used immediately after (within 30 minutes) sport or training to deliver essential and non-essential amino acids to support muscle growth and regeneration.

Mixed with Milk  Whey Protein Deluxe will digest slower and ideal for before bedtime or any period of fasting.

Recommended Use: Mix 40g (2 Scoops) serving  with 250ml of cold water in a shaker or blender.  Note: pour water first then add powder. This product can be mixed with milk for a creamier shake.  Consume 2-3 servings per day as part of a balanced diet and exercise regime.

Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s) – amino acids are the building block components that all proteins are made from in nature. The BCAA’s, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine constitute to around 33% of muscle tissue. Whey Protein Deluxe provides a 2:1:1 ratio of Leucine to Isoleucine and Valine. Whey Protein Deluxe provides 6g of BCAA’s per serving.

Essential Amino Acids (EAA’s) – are the amino acids that the body is unable to manufacture naturally. Food provides the body with these “essential” amino acids which are required to support general wellbeing and muscle recovery.

Glutamine – is considered by many nutritionists to be essential for anybody who exercises regularly. Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid found in muscle tissue at around 60% of total amino acids. All the Glutamine in Whey Protein Deluxe is in peptide form. The benefit of peptide form is that the Glutamine can reach the muscle tissue more readily than in free form L-Glutamine.  

Quality and Purity – Only high grade pure proteins are used in Whey Protein Deluxe to ensure rapid mixing, zero clumping and more importantly maximum bioavailability. This is in stark contrast to Inexpensive proteins that are characterised by their inability to mix well and unpleasant texture. Digezyme® Digestive enzyme complex contains a combination of digestive enzymes, all aimed at aiding the digestion of nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fat and fibre, whilst also being resistant to gastric juices.

Protease:  aids the digestion of protein. Protein is a staple part of an active person’s diet, both when ‘bulking’ and ‘cutting’, therefore it is beneficial to catalyse the digestion of protein by adding Protease. Supplementing with Protease will help relieve some of the symptoms of a high protein diet, such as stomach discomfort or bloating.

Amylase: following protein, carbohydrate is another important nutrient in an active person’s diet. Large quantities of carbohydrate can be consumed, and this can leave you feeling bloated or uncomfortable. Amylase will negate the discomfort associated with consuming large quantities of carbohydrate by catalysing its breakdown for easier digestion.

Lipase: aids in the digestion of fat; helping to breakdown large fat molecules into smaller molecules in order to ease digestion. Fats can take a long time to digest, which can hinder the digestion of other nutrients. Efficient breakdown of fats, via Lipase supplementation, can be particularly beneficial in relation to improved digestion.

Lactase: Lactose intolerance can be a frustrating problem. Products such as Whey Protein contain lactose and often mean dietary protein has to come from other sources. Lactase provides a source of the enzyme needed to breakdown lactose and relieves the negative side effects associated with consuming lactose.

Cellulase: A healthy diet rich in fruit and vegetables is also rich in cellulose, a plant fibre which can be hard to digest. DigeZyme® contains Cellulase in order to help improve the breakdown of the plant fibre in order to promote healthier digestion.
